When you think of American Football what is the first thing that pops into your mind? Well I would beat it would be the massive American infront of the Football word. I know that is daunting and that makes a lot of die hard Football (Soccer) fans annoyed. 

However I want to approach it from a different angle, America is growing our home born sport on a massive scale with its own leagues, set of rules and huge investment from outside sources. Then I thought why not flip that concept on its head and see what we can do with “American Football” in the UK. 

Turns out its a whole lot… In the short time that I have been browsing X, Instagram and Facebook I have been pleasantly surprised to see teams popping up all over the UK. From Cornwall to Melbourne there are teams in abundance. With there own leagues and some even have dreams to make it to America and play for a College team or even if they are lucky, the NFL. 

This lit a lightbulb in my head and got me thinking about why is this not talked about more? Why shouldn’t the masses learn about what is happening on our shores? Why are we not aware of the people who play Violent Chess week in week out. Well with this podcast I hope to find out who these people are and share there stories for any who would listen. 

Every week I shall be putting out an episode about 1 or more indavduals to tell me there story and what this sport means to them and what it has done for there life. This could be on any level I will interview waterboys to Headcoaches. I don’t care as long as they have a story about the game we love.
